On Saturday 11th November the u9s, along with a number of parents, headed off early from the club to take on the Tipperary team of Inch & Drom, not too far from Thurles. Being the local club of our own Beann Eadair mentor Tadhg Kenehan, there lay a slight mix of emotions surrounding who he might be cheering for come game time.
Beann Eadair had two teams travelling down and enjoyed thoroughly exciting few games of hurling and football in what was less than favourable conditions!!!
Afterwards the club provided a master class in hospitality with a massive spread of warm drinks, sandwiches, scones and treats that could feed an army. 
Everyone enjoyed a fantastic day out with a special thanks to O’Connors Coaches for bringing the team up and down, and also for  stopping off at Supermacs on the way back for curry chips for some cough cough hungry parents!
