Why we walk… we are walking in memory of our clubmate Rory Purcell

We are joining thousands of people across Ireland and the world for sunrise on Saturday May 7th to support people affected by suicide and self-harm.

We will meet at the clubhouse at 4.30am, and from there, we will walk – via the Summit – to the East Mountain where we will watch the sunrise together, and we will then walk back to the clubhouse via Dungriffin Road, where we will get some nice warm refreshments together.

We would encourage you and your families and friends to join us in memory of Rory and in support of Pieta House and the great work they do, in keeping essential services available to those who need them.

The gift you donate today could mean that one more call can be answered to someone in suicidal distress, one more person can get the help they need, when they need it, and one more family can be spared from the devastating heartbreak of suicide.
