One from the archives (2017) – Dubs star Con O’Callaghan brought Sam Maguire on his now annual visit to the local schools – long may this tradition continue!
Accompanying Sam on his trip this time was Paddy O’Flaherty, who remains our last All Ireland winner.
At St Fintan’s, Sam was met with a guard of honour provided by the girls & boys senior teams, and was presented to all the rest of the school.

The Burrow was the next stop and the kids had an opportunity to ask Con a few questions!

Finally, the tour reached Scoil Mhuire, and the schools medal-winning boys & girls teams were able to get close up the the famous trophy.

Club GPO Simon Lambert, and Schools Representative Stephen Kennedy were on hand to guide Con around Howth & Sutton.
